
Rental Policies
Before you hit the road with me, Daisy, be sure to read and understand my rental policies—we don’t want any surprises at the end of our adventure!
Rental Duration
My minimum rental period is four (4) days, and rentals are charged on a daily basis. If you'd like to extend your adventure, just let me know—extensions are available if the schedule allows.
Payment
Here’s how I handle payments: All prices are in USD. To secure your reservation, a 50% deposit is due at the time of booking, and the remaining 50% is due 16 days before your reservation date. I accept payments via bank transfer or PayPal. If you choose PayPal, a 3.5% fee will apply to the balance. For bank transfers, any associated fees are the renter's responsibility.
Pricing
My rates start at $130.00 per day plus taxes, and that includes basic insurance. If you’d prefer full coverage for extra peace of mind, you can add it for $35.00 per day. I also require a $1,500.00 damage deposit if you opt for t full coverage. If you do not take the full coverage option the damage deposit is $2,500.00. The damage deposit will be an "authorization hold" on a credit card at the time of pick up, and will be released within 7 days of returning me in the same condition we left for our adventure.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off
You'll pick up and drop me off at my partner hotel, ALAJUELA CITY Hotel & Guest House. I recommend you book your first night with them so we can get to know each other before we head off on our adventure. If you need an alternative location, we can arrange that in advance for an additional fee. Please return me on time to avoid late fees. www.alajuelacityhotel.com
Mileage and Fuel
Included in my rental is unlimited mileage, so feel free to explore to your heart’s content without any extra charges. However, if you return me with less than a full tank of gas, a refueling fee of $40 plus the cost of gas will apply. Think of it as my way of making sure I don’t get thirsty!
Cancellations and Refunds
Life happens—I get it. If you cancel at least 15 days in advance, you’ll receive a full refund. For cancellations between 14 and 7 days, I’ll need to charge a 50% fee. Unfortunately, no-shows or cancellations made less than 7 days before pick-up are non-refundable.

If you run into any trouble, my trusted assistants have you covered with 24/7 roadside assistance. Just contact them, and they’ll make sure you get the help you need as quickly as possible.
